For Realtors
1) iGUIDE 3D Immersive 360 Degree Virtual Walkthrough Tour
2) iGUIDE Standard or Premium Drafted Floor Plan

Insurance Professionals can use immersive 360 Degree Virtual Walkthrough Tours and other deliverables such as an Xactimate Sketch, which can be imported into your Xactimate program. The ESX file contains the 2D Sketch portion of your iGUIDE property data. When imported into Xactimate, it automatically builds the base layout of a property, providing walls, doors, windows, and room dimensions so you can skip manual sketching and jump straight into estimating. The Real-Time Tagging feature is also available to tag and photograph items of importance close up, that become an interactive part of the tour.

For Architects and Builders… iGUIDE floor plans are ANSI compliant. With iGUIDE technology, measurement uncertainty in distance measurement on a floor plan is 0.5% or better and the corresponding uncertainty in square footage is 1% or better.
The iGUIDE Advanced Drawing Package pairs an iGUIDE Virtual Walkthrough Tour with a Premium Drafted Floor Plan (DWG), a detailed plotted drawing package and Lidar Point Cloud Data for all floors (DXF). Together these deliverables provide complete documentation of a property, making it a go-to choice for architects, designers and contractors who need rich, measurable property data. Real-Time Tagging feature is also available.

Below is a summary of what the Advanced Drawing Package includes as deliverables in every project:

1) iGUIDE Premium 3D Virtual Walkthrough

2) Premium Drafted Floor Plan (DWG)

3) Plotted Drawing Package (PDF) including As-Built Floor Plans with surface-level details

4) Dimension drawing in DWG export format

5) Lidar Point Cloud Data of all floors (DXF)

Available Add-ons
The Advanced Drawing Package supports a range of paid add-ons that can be included with your order. When selected, these add-ons are automatically added to the Plotted PDF Drawing Package, giving you flexibility to choose exactly what deliverables your project needs:

3D Model (DWG or RVT)
Reflected Ceiling Plan (DWG)
Exterior Elevations (DWG)
Roof Plan (DWG)

iGUIDE Radix (not part of the Advanced Drawing Package)

Another simple way to document a space is called the iGUIDE Radix. iGUIDE Radix is a fast, flexible virtual-tour-like experience that combines a navigable point cloud with 360-degree visuals. It is typically available within minutes of upload and displays the data exactly as it was captured, making it ideal for documenting construction progress or providing an underlay for third-party drawing software. A Radix file is generally used independently for visual walkthroughs and quick measurements rather than as a file fed into Xactimate. Its speed and flexibility make it well-suited for:

  1. Documenting spaces during construction progress monitoring

  2. Capturing data to use as an underlay for third-party drawing software

  3. Generating fast, raw spatial records of a property, great for Insurance professionals

iGUIDE Radix includes the following key features as part of every project:

  1. Virtual walkthrough with point cloud for navigation and 360-degree visuals

  2. DXF file download with point cloud data

  3. Real-Time Tagging if requested

  4. The iGUIDE team does not draft Radix floor plans.

iGUIDE Virtual Walkthrough Is Now Available in Verisk’s Xactimate Solution. New collaboration helps insurance, restoration, and claims professionals save time and increase efficiency by automatically accessing iGUIDE’s Virtual Walkthrough directly within Xactimate. Insurance, restoration, and claims professionals can now easily access an iGUIDE Virtual Walkthrough within Xactimate, eliminating the need to switch between these programs.
WATERLOO, Ontario & JERSEY CITY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Planitar Inc., makers of iGUIDE a leading proprietary camera and software platform for capturing and delivering immersive virtual walkthroughs, precise floor plans, and accurate property data, today announced an expanded collaboration with Verisk (Nasdaq: VRSK), a leading global data analytics and technology provider, and its industry-leading Xactimate® solution for property claims management.

Insurance, restoration, and claims professionals can now easily access an iGUIDE Virtual Walkthrough within Xactimate, eliminating the need to switch between these programs. This integration streamlines workflows, enabling faster property assessments by consolidating visuals, damage verification, and measurement tools into a single interface.

Beyond convenience, the iGUIDE Virtual Walkthrough provides a detailed, interactive view of each room, offering a more accurate and comprehensive perspective. Professionals can confirm building materials and explore the scene of the loss, reducing the need for repeat site visits and expediting claims resolution.

“We are excited to bring our collaboration with Verisk to the next level. This product integration leverages the market-leading technology of Xactimate and iGUIDE and will set a new standard for accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction for insurance and restoration professionals,” said Alexander Likholyot, Planitar CEO. “Combining iGUIDE's accurate measurements, interactive virtual walkthroughs, and precise property data with Xactimate's powerful estimating platform will streamline workflows, reduce errors, and improve collaboration between contractors, adjusters, and property owners.”

How it works:

  • The virtual tour link automatically embeds when an iGUIDE Sketch (ESX file) is generated.

  • When an iGUIDE Sketch is opened in Xactimate, a separate window displays the virtual walkthrough alongside the sketch.

  • There is no need to open extra tabs or manually add the walkthrough—simply click the integrations tab to access.

  • Any iGUIDE Instant, Standard or Premium Sketch now includes a virtual tour URL embedded within it upon creation.

These features save time, improve accuracy of measurements, and expedite claims resolution.

“We’re excited to welcome iGUIDE to Verisk’s expanding ecosystem, giving Xactimate users superior tools and services that drive accuracy, productivity, and efficiency,” said Jason Love, vice president of product for Verisk Property Estimating Solutions. “This new Xactimate integration provides our shared customers with access to third-party virtual walkthroughs to deliver an enhanced user experience.”

Xactimate® is a registered trademark of Xactware Solutions, Inc., a Verisk company.

Article Showing the relationship between iGUIDE and Mike Holmes of HGTV

HGTV Host and Building Expert Mike Holmes Partners with iGUIDE to Empower Builders and Inspectors with Better Data.
WATERLOO, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--iGUIDE, a leading provider of property documentation technology, is proud to announce a new partnership with professional builder, contractor, and HGTV television host Mike Holmes to raise awareness about the critical role accurate property data plays in improving outcomes for builders, inspectors, designers, and homeowners.

Holmes is known for his commitment to quality, transparency, and “making it right.” For decades, he has shown that many construction issues stem from bad or incomplete information—missing photos, inaccurate measurements, and undocumented changes that lead to costly surprises.

Miscommunication drives roughly 26% of all construction rework, while bad or inaccurate data fuels another 14-22%.1 It adds up fast. Rework remains one of the industry’s most costly and persistent issues, regularly eating 5–10% of total project spend, and in many cases, far more.2

iGUIDE delivers a multi-faceted solution to this industry-wide challenge with its proprietary PLANIX R1 camera system and project deliverables. The PLANIX R1 combines a 360° camera with LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) measurements to capture thousands of measurements and 360° panoramic images in minutes, producing a complete and verifiable dataset. From this dataset, it generates floor plans, immersive 3D walkthroughs, CAD-ready outputs and rich property data.

iGUIDE provided Mike Holmes with a PLANIX camera system to share his opinion on the technology. Since then, the Holmes team has relied on it for complex renovation projects.

“You can’t make it right without accurate data,” Holmes said. “I’ve talked for years about building better and building smarter. Technology just caught up. Now builders, inspectors, and homeowners have a tool that measures, documents, and photographs all at once with iGUIDE’s incredible level of precision. I can honestly say this is an amazing product. It blew my mind - it's easy to use, easy to learn, and my team and trade partners love the results.”

Additionally, it improves homeowner confidence with verifiable data about projects. When builders use iGUIDE to document every stage of a project, clients have a clear record of their property—from pre-existing conditions to final project close-out.

Reliance on traditional methods, such as manual tape measurements, hand sketches, and rough estimates, can result in inaccurate data that leads to cost overruns and rework. iGUIDE eliminates these risks by providing:

  • Highly accurate, LiDAR-based measurements

  • High-resolution 360° imagery

  • Immersive 3D walkthroughs

  • CAD-ready exports (DWG & RVT)

  • Quick delivery—within 48–72 hours

Recently, the Holmes team used the iGUIDE to document a cottage renovation and were impressed by the fast capture workflow and the quality of the deliverables. The system is now supporting them across the full lifecycle of the project, from initial documentation to ongoing progress tracking.

“Since we’ve started using iGUIDE it has saved the Holmes team multiple hours in the renovation process,” says Mike Holmes.

Through this partnership, iGUIDE joins the Holmes Approved Products family, a program designed to help consumers and professionals choose products that support quality, safety, and long-term durability.

“Whether you’re documenting pre-drywall plumbing and wiring, settling square footage disputes, or creating a homeowner handoff package, iGUIDE gives you one complete, accurate dataset for everything,” said Skylar Lawrence-LeBel, VP, Marketing and Customer Experience at iGUIDE. “Mike’s commitment to quality aligns with our mission perfectly, and we’re thrilled to partner with him.”
